They have worked tirelessly to clear out the garbage, invasive weeds, and the old dilapidated boardwalk, and have installed a new metal boardwalk that is stroller and wheelchair-friendly. The boardwalk spans ¾ of a mile, and is accompanied by bilingual educational signs that offer insights into the flora and fauna of the area.

In addition to the boardwalk, visitors can enjoy an observation tower, a gazebo, and a pretty little pond. Future plans include a bridge over to the small island in the middle of the pond. The area is clean, and there are restrooms available for convenience.
